About the role:
A part time position has become available for a Customer Support Specialist for our Manufacturing business based in Chermside, Brisbane. This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and customer focused individual to join our Sales Team and our business.
Reporting to our Customer Support Manager your role will be a 12-month contract with annual review. 25 hours per week (9am-2pm daily) On-Site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely and efficient response to customer phone, email, and written enquiries.
  • Raise and provide product pricing and quotations for all customers in a timely manner in consultation as required with the Team Leader, Sales Manager, or General Manager.
  • Liaise with the Production Team Leaders for the on time in full supply of ordered products and backorders to customers.
  • Data entry of customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • At all times promote a strong and positive image of Rodney Industries and Vinidex.
  • Provide support to Internal Sales Supervisor and complete all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist in administration filing and stock control procedures when required as directed by Internal Sales Coordinator.
  • Participate in staffing company product displays at agricultural shows and field days and respond to enquiries by potential customers.
  • Ensure customer orders and quotes are filed in correct order with all relevant documentation attached.
  • Ensure sales catalogues and brochures are kept up to date to ensure accurate customer service information is provided.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to genuinely connect with customers, peers, and management.
  • Prior experience and knowledge working with agricultural irrigation equipment and machinery, including polyethylene material would be beneficial.
  • Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Software applications is essential.
  • Must possess a positive attitude to work and the ability to participate in a cooperative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

On the job training in the use of business specific software packages will be provided to the incumbent
