Customization Engineer (d/f/m) Cabin Seats

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar qualification.
• Experience in design and integration of seats.
• Knowledge in setting technical direction for engineering projects.
• Very good skills in creating 3D models and technical drawingsAdvanced experience with PLM solutions (Catia, VPM, ICC, PASS SSI, 3DQM, de2MAT, early eDMU, DMU tools (Trend, ProductView, Context Builder, Novo, earlyDMU, 3D Juump)
• Good communication skills
• Great self-motivation
• Sense of quality
• Languages: German and English

IN YOUR NEW ROLE, YOU WILL BE EMPLOYED AS A CUSTOMIZATION ENGINEER CABIN SEATS. YOU INTEGRATE, POSITION AND CHECK PASSENGER SEATS AND FURNITURE 3D MODELS FROM THE VARIOUS SEAT SUPPLIERS IN THE AIRBUS DMU. AS SEATS CUSTOMIZATION ENGINEER, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING THE AIRBUS INSTALLATION DRAWINGS.

They are used cross-program (Single Aisle and WideBody) and therefore always work with the latest and innovative seat models.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integration of the customized seats according to customer requirements into our Airbus DMU
• Transfer of the customer definition into production data such as drawings, 3D models, full 3D installation drawings and qualification documents
• Ensuring integration into the aircraft and the digital mock-up as well as meeting airworthiness requirements. Close collaboration with our engineering interfaces and our production
• Represent Airbus interests in technical meetings
