Description:
REQUIREMENTS - OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognized Bachelor or Master degree related to Data Science, Engineering, Business management or Law/Trade
- Experience using SAP for logistics is desirable and experience with data-oriented programming (e.g. Python, SQL) would be an asset
- Experience in Customs classification is a plus
- Willingness to learn about Customs. more specifically about classification rules
- English is mandatory and an additional language would be an asset
- At least 3-5 years experience
- Experience of analysis and evaluation of national and inter-company cross-border business relationships.
- Proven ability to cooperate with people, preferably across geographies, even without formal reporting lines (e.g. virtual team),capable of both teamwork and working independently, working with integrity and ethics
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly establish credibility and trust among a broad range of individuals within the company and through virtual means of communication.
- Outstanding conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with a high energy level.
- Creativity, innovation and sense of anticipation are key skills for this position, Critical thinking.

Responsibilities:
Position opened in the Customs department under the leadership of the Tax & Customs Centre of Competences within Finances covering all Divisions.
- Oversight of SAP logistics solutions used to facilitate Customs clearance. Management of exceptions and handling of missing customs data requests, towards the appropriate stakeholders.
- Strong data science/analytics knowledge and critical mindset, continuously proposing improvements to the data management process.
- Support Customs classification of Airbus engineering systems and tools.
- Manage data needed to perform customs clearance activities, ensuring compliance in front of customs authorities and securing a smooth flow of goods
- The Data Expert will work closely with the Financial Systems customs representative, to reach end-to-end digital data management, through activities with all departments involved in data needed for customs declarations, such as Procurement, Transport-Logistic, Manufacturing, Programs, Finances, etc.
- Integrated into a transverse team, able to support requests of customs classification and other customs data, from all Airbus divisions, through an internal multinational network of customs experts.
- Responsible for reviewing data quality and will, with the support of the customs teams, propose any applicable updates to the customs Directive A1087 & all associated quality documents and will support the formalization of the ERM process
