Description:
Following the successful launch of our new European distribution hub in Dublin, Ireland, we are proud to announce we are currently recruiting for a Customs Clearance Manager to join us. This state-of-the-art facility near Dublin International Airport is the result of a multi-million pound investment, enabling our evolution into a focused pharma services company. Spanning 46,000 sq. ft, the Dublin hub allows us to expand operations and enhance services, adapting to meet clients’ changing needs. Most importantly, we’ll offer rapid 24-hour delivery to most of Europe, ensuring timely access to life-saving medicines.
Main duties of the role are receiving and distributing pharmaceutical products in accordance with departmental procedures whilst maintaining stock control and ensure a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Demonstrable experience of working Pharma industry in Ireland at management level within logistics.
- Subject matter expert in customs, tax and VAT regulations gained through experience in working in UK and other global customs regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team and develop a team effectively, including managing KPI’s.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders both internally, across multiple sites and externally.
- Experience of working under pressure within agreed time constraints.
- Team player, enthusiastic and flexible.
- English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-B (or equivalent)
- Highly computer literate in MS Office Suite, experience in the use of Oracle, Thyme IT and in claiming of shipments through use of Destin8 and CNS software advantageous.
It is a requirement for this position to be on site on a daily basis, travel is required for up to four days per month.
