Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is looking for Cyber Security Analyst/ Engineer to assist for a 3 month contract on Cybersecurity configuration and patching work.
- ASAP Start
- Onsite at Lewisham with potential for Macquarie Park
- 3 Months short term contract
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Hands on experience assisting in cybersecurity and infrastructure domains. Able to work independently from an engineering perspective.
- Vulnerability Management and Remediation (Patching
- Assess and develop a strategy and plan to remediate existing backlog of vulnerabilities in ICT assets including but are not limited to cloud hosted workloads, end points, network devices and so forth.
- Prioritize vulnerabilities and advise remediation actions and techniques including compensating controls (should there be a system not viable for a vendor recommended solution).
Test patching solutions in a test environment and create report.
Apply patching solutions using automated - non-automated tools preferably self-driven and/or in collaboration with the concerned technical teams (working model will be defined).
Able to design/define/configure any compensating controls where patches cannot be applied.
- Microsoft Defender 365 - Zero Trust Architecture (Configuration - testing and Implementation)
- Understand and skilled in Microsoft Defender 365 echo system along with Sentinel for the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture.
- Able to design-test-configure condition access policies pertaining to different ZT tenets and SVDP policy use cases.
TOOLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong conceptual and practical skills in vulnerability and patch management. Well versed with Qualys, ManageEngine, Defender Vulnerability Management, FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco Switches and Routers, Azure Cloud (Network Design and Controls), Microsoft Defender 365 Suite and Sentinel)
