We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Scoresby, Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including conducting regular security assessments, developing and implementing security policies, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure security controls are implemented into the infrastructure and systems. You will be supporting both the Cybersecurity Leader & IT Director for APAC.
Overall Experience: 3 - 5 years
Location: Scoresby, Melbourne Australia (Hybrid)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any domain with relevant experience in cybersecurity. • Be familiar with local cybersecurity laws and regulations. • Proven experience working as a Security Analyst or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of information security principles, concepts, and technologies. • Proficient in incident response methodologies and security incident management. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make
    sound decisions. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively
    communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify and address security weaknesses. • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are integrated into the infrastructure
    and systems. • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis,

recommending remediation actions, and implementing security measures to prevent future incidents.

  • Perform risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies. • Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security

consciousness. • Participate in the planning and implementation of security projects, including the
deployment of new security technologies and tools. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage security incidents and
implement appropriate security measures.
