Responsibilities:
As a member of the Harvey Norman Information Security team based on-site in Silverwater, you’ll closely collaborate with our CISO and Information Security Managers. Your role will involve performing Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management, while also managing Security Platforms to support our global security objectives. You’ll represent the overall Security team in project engagements, providing crucial oversight, design, and assurance.
Responsibilities include;
- Perform critical business and security projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with HN’s security by design principles
- Ongoing assurance through activities such as audits, technical risks assessments, and the facilitation of penetration tests
- Conduct third-party assessments in accordance with GRC practices whenever the organisation engages new vendors or partners
- Stay informed about potential threats, emerging trends, and relevant events that could impact the organisations risk posture
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with security platforms
- Track and report on information security controls and their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements
- Assist in developing documentation necessary for the continuous support and maintenance of security platforms
- Assist in the enforcement and socialisation of security policies, standards, and processes
- Support the Security Operations, Data Governance and Risk and Compliance teams where required
