REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in cyber security operations, incident response, or digital forensics
- Thorough understanding of hacker tools, techniques, and procedures
- Proficiency with a range of cyber security tools, including antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, security information and event management (SIEM) platforms, email and web proxies, and vulnerability scanners
- Background in fundamental IT areas like system administration and networking
- Familiarity with Information Security Manual (ISM) and other pertinent global security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI DSS)
- Possession of defense security clearance or eligibility to acquire one
Responsibilities:
- Contributing expertise in cybersecurity across various security environments
- Evaluating, building, maintaining, and improving cybersecurity measures to protect against emerging threats
- Participating in incident response, digital forensics, and internal investigations
- Providing support for complex inquiries within the cybersecurity domain
- Proactively recommending adjustments and enhancements to bolster the organization’s security posture
