Job Title: Cyber Security Assurance Analyst
Salary:up to £48,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Portsmouth
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Cyber Security Assurance Analyst. The role will be based in Portsmouth but will require some travel between other UK sites and offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours- individual circumstances will be discussed.

The Cyber Assurance Team is a key business capability that will ensure cyber assurance expertise are developed appropriately across the IM&T function and wider business unit. The role will form part of the wider team, providing SME of cyber security assurance across the business group, whilst protecting from internal and external threats.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out level 1 cyber assurance, and performing assurance audits
- Research and review system documentation
- Using Archer to produce various reports
- Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change
- Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures. Provides reports and proposals for improvement, to specialists, users and managers
- Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan
- Performs defined tasks to monitor performance against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information.
- Analyses service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions
- Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures

About You:
Essential:
- Experience of Line 2/Line 3 IT service
- Knowledge of IT security Frameworks
Desirable:
- Working towards or completed a relevant IT security qualification
You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years
