As our growth continues, we have a newly created role is on offer! We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Cyber Security Engineer to join our Technology Team in our based at our Cremorne Office, in Melbourne.
If you are a seasoned systems engineer with experience in a Microsoft and multi-cloud environment, with a mind for cyber security and looking to get in. If you are a few years into a role as a security engineer and looking to expand your horizons, or if you have been a pentester and looking to apply the knowledge to solve problems, then this is the role for you.
About The Role
You will join a growing team of cyber security “veterans” working towards shaping the next evolution of the cyber security strategy. Cyber security is an evolving discipline, so don’t worry if you don’t have all these skills or all the certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a key contributor and shaper of growing businesses cyber security program,
  • Design, implement and manage cyber security controls and solutions,
  • Uplift and maintain NDR solutions to securely manage, detect, and respond to network events,
  • Conduct regular reviews of firewall, application, and network security policies,
  • Work with infrastructure and application owners to help understand and drive down exposure to vulnerabilities,
  • Be involved in, co-ordinate, or run cyber security incidents and exercises,
  • Uplift, maintain and design security controls on servers, workstations, point of sales and other endpoints,
  • Uplift, maintain and drive the effectiveness of our end point detection and response tools,
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities by monitoring security advisories, research reports, threat intel reports and industry trends,
  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams to help steer the organisation in the right direction, and
  • Be a positive role model for cyber security across the business and the industry.
