Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with systems engineers and development engineers, providing vital support in the design and implementation of our systems.
As an experienced professional, you’ll bring your proven hands-on expertise in security systems and services, deployment automation, and security configuration management to the table. Your keen analytical skills will drive continuous improvement as you analyze cyber security systems, identify potential threats, and report software issues.
In addition to problem-solving, you’ll also focus on finding cost-effective solutions to cyber security challenges, aligning software, hardware, and internet needs with our business environment. You’ll play a crucial role in developing best practices and security standards for our organization, setting the benchmark for excellence in the field.

EXAMPLE OF WORK TASKS

  • Leading the design and implementation of IT security architectures across diversified projects.
  • Providing support to system engineers and development engineers.
  • Leading a cross-functional IT security deployment team.
  • Leveraging strong hands-on experience with IT security systems and services, deployment automation, and security configuration management.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • An excellent understanding of best practices within information security and risk management and knowledge of current and emerging cyber security threats.
  • Handle responsibility for infrastructure security domain, collaboration with developers to ensure SDLC security, and possessing knowledge of information security systems and solutions (IPS, NAC, EDR, Firewall), including whitelisting and secure browsing.
  • Have experience from work with organizational information security systems such as SIEM and SOC, along with expertise in networking fundamentals, including Routers, Switches, and WAN/LAN communication.
  • Have worked with IT systems including Virtualization tools (such as VMWare, HyperV), Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, etc.), and Linux, coupled with deep knowledge in networking and operating systems.
  • Have relevant Cyber security certificates (such as CISSP, CISM, CCIE or similar)
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish
    While not required, it is advantageous if you have experience in the defense sector.
    We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills and a self-learning mindset, coupled with problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to influence others effectively, collaborating seamlessly across departments within the organization, as well as with external vendors and partners. Experience working in a team environment and communicating effectively with both internal and external interfaces is highly valued.
