Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Manufacturing Sector is looking to employ a Cyber Security Engineer to join their dynamic team in Middelburg.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Gr12 with Maths and Science
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 6 years’ experience (Grade 5) in a Cybersecurity role, 4 years’ experience (Grade6) and 2 years’ experience (Grade7)
• Any specialized certifications will be advantageous: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH), Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
• Minimum of 2 years Network or Server Administration experience with a deep understanding of networking protocols and operating systems.
• In depth working knowledge of both Windows Server and Linux.
• Knowledge of programming languages and tools (shell scripting, Python, Ruby)
• Knowledge of computer forensics.
• Administrative skills: Diligent systems maintenance and management, full audit trail on all tasks, zero trust mentality.
• Personal competencies: Problem-solving, attention to detail, transparency and ability to work under pressure.
• People skills and communication: Working in teams, suppliers, contractors, colleagues (from most junior to executive management)
