Description:

DESCRIPTION:

Be part of a dynamic security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, develop, integrate, and sell-off products to government customers. In this role, you will lead tasks such as the following under the general direction of the cyber engineering lead:

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle
  • Serve as cyber representative to non-cyber teams supporting requirements understanding, collaborative engagement, and solution identification, design, and implementation
  • Conduct cybersecurity evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements
  • Develop Cyber Plans and Procedures
  • Support coordination of cyber risk assessments and Cyber Table Top (CTT) reviews
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions
  • Execute cyber test activities to include test reporting and software assurance (SWA) related activities
  • Support program engineering environment to include hardware and software tools as well as equipment and applications to emulate systems and cyber threats

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In-depth experience with cybersecurity concepts and principles
  • Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development for DoD
  • Software development support experience with DoD embedded systems
  • Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Possess DoD 8570 IAM Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Vulnerability Analysis
  • Experience with Open Source Intelligence and similar methodologies
  • Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
  • Experience cyber-hardening operating systems (STIGS or similar)
  • Experience cyber-hardening network equipment such as switches, firewalls, routers (STIGS or similar)
  • Penetration Testing/Blue/Red Team/CVPA/AA experience as system owner representative or test team
  • Top Secret clearance preferred
