Description:

Auria is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst/NQV with 2+ years of experience for a fully funded remote position to join our team!
NOTE: You must have a Navy Qualified Validator certification.
The salary range is $80,000 - $130,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate all aspects of Information Systems (IS) data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation
  • Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems
  • Develop and execute Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures
  • Implement data network security measures; operate and monitor network intrusion detection and forensic systems; conduct IS security incident handling
  • Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and related security operations
  • Perform defensive cyber operation duties including, but not limited to, ensuring workstation and server compliancy with HBSS requirements
  • Identify cybersecurity incidents using HBSS, Tenable Security Center, RedSeal, McAfee Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM), and other automated tools; operating Imperva Web Application and Database firewalls
  • Performing forensics and remedial action on cybersecurity incidents
  • Report defensive cyber operations statistics

Requirements:

  • Navy Qualified Validator certification
  • 2-5 years practical experience in cybersecurity role
  • High School Diploma
  • DoD IAM/IAT Level III (CASP, +CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP)
  • Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Travel up to 20%

Preferred Requirements:

  • Validator activities for at least one RMF Security Authorization Package within the last year
  • Knowledge of the steps associated with developing a Security Assessment Plan (SAP), and the associated validation procedures
  • Experience in all RMF Steps
