As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be an essential part of the cybersecurity team, working to protect our digital assets from cyber threats. You will collaborate with other team members to implement security measures, monitor security systems, and respond to security incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled student in their final semester pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with the intention of obtaining their engineering degree.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an information security role
  • Knowledge of information security principles and practices
  • Familiarity with security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM)
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Good Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn, ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity. Configure and support security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software. Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards. Participate in the investigation of security breaches and help with the implementation of solutions to prevent future incidents. Assist in the development of organization-wide best practices for IT security. Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments. Educate and train staff on information security through user awareness campaigns. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure security software is properly installed on network and systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools, and network technologies.
