Job Description

SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Manager of Cybersecurity Assurance. A qualified leader will be working as part of the Enterprise Information Security Office and Risk Management team. In this role, the Manager of Cybersecurity Assurance is responsible for security architecture, reviewing the design, reviewing the change records, and supporting the Enterprise Information Security Incident Management function. This is achieved through working in partnership with our information technology team and leading a talented team of Security professionals in our 2nd line security function. The individual will report all activities to senior management and provide support to enable executive management to meet organizational goals and objectives, ensure programs are functioning appropriately and take direct accountability for the results of assigned programs. In this role your team will Plan, Prepare and Execute validation activities to ensure new projects and operational systems adhere to Information Security policies and processes with a focus on reporting, tracking and closing identified issues. Your team will also assess and deliver vulnerability and penetration test efforts on projects and operational systems.

This role reports directly to the CISO and will work closely with executing the overall agenda of the Enterprise Information Security Office, Enterprise Risk Management, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a team of security professionals in the delivery of security services that have organizational wide impacts.
  • Continuously review processes and practices to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide guidance on the Architecture, Design, and then Review appropriate access control mechanisms on all computing platforms to ensure information is protected according to security policies as part of Change Management.
  • From the architectural design, develop and review the appropriate IAM security standards for IT infrastructure/Cloud/Application/Database/Storage/Network/Firewall components (e.g., network, workstation, servers, host security module, etc.).
  • Participate and lead the Security Response Team for all Security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain the access control rules for systems, databases, networks and application; provide controlled access in accordance with owner-defined information access requirements.
  • Actively participate in the application development/acquisition process to ensure security requirements are considered at all phases of application development/acquisition process - from definition of user requirements, through application design, construction/purchase, testing, production use of the system, and application retirement.

  • Oversee Managed Security service contracts with external vendors ensuring communication of expectations and verification of delivery of services.
  • This role has a central and key role in working with Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, Business Stakeholders, and Regulatory Bodies to ensure the company information security projects assigned are risk ‘managed for ‘regulatory compliance and in compliance to company standards and policies.
  • Projects in scope for management will involve industry leading products and technologies in Information Security, IT Risk Management, and Identity Access Management.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, IT colleagues, Business Stakeholders, and vendors to help the projects to completion.
  • Leads deployment and adoption of process, tools, and templates within Enterprise Information Security
