This position is CONTINGENT upon funding, an open position, customer approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain our customer’s sensitive clearance.
An experienced Cybersecurity Engineer is needed to support our customer’s Boundary and Email Protection (BEPS) in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, to include cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity and risk.
  • Develops actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business.
  • Review user needs and requirements and interprets and uses IT architectural guidelines to review system architecture designs or system.
  • Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information to integrate and migrate existing and planned platforms in support of an organization’s enterprise architecture.
  • Discern protection needs (e.g., security controls) to compare an organization’s protection requirements to its information security guidance; identifies gaps in its security architecture, presents considerations for applicability and risk, and provides recommendations for remediation.

Required:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust – and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
  • 5+ years of work experience with digital forensics

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, in an information technology discipline or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or IT work experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
