Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Cybersecurity Manager to lead our client’s cybersecurity initiatives and safeguard their digital assets. As the IT Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization from internal and external threats. You will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, oversee security assessments, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 Years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security management role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with security assessment tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security incident response protocols.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Preference is given to candidates from the manufacturing sector too.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response, Forensic Investigation, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
  • Manage incident response activities and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate security breaches.
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, potential impact, and business risk, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, modern cybersecurity concepts, and technologies (zero trust, CIS Controls, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, XDR, CloudSec, AppSec, NIST, ITIL, Azure Well-Architected Framework, etc).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
