River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.
River Edge Behavioral Health is recognized for its state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse problems. In addition, River Edge offers services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Complete assignments within established timeframes and according to established procedures.
- Maintain organized, accessible, and current up to date residential charts.
- Scan and upload into ECR all required documents according to established procedures/timeframes.
- Receive, screen and direct telephone calls, and greet or assist internal or external customers.
- Open, sort and route incoming mail
- Completes, maintains, and submits required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Properly prepares documents for purchase/payment of needs/wants of individuals, verifying the availability of funds, within established timeframes and according to established procedures when subbing for rep payee clerk.
- Attends, completes, and demonstrates competency in all applicable training.
- Ensure confidentiality with all individual records.
- Communicates effectively, clearly, positively and professionally when interacting with individuals served, co-workers, families, and community members
