Software Engineer

D365 F&O Technical Consultant with the following duties:

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ecosystem, Point of Sale (POS), e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Demandware, and the payment processing industry.
  • Design, configure, implement, and customize Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions based on client requirements.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to understand and document the customer’s technical and business requirements necessary for successful completion of POCs and Projects.
  • Assess the risks and merits of different technical approaches to solve complex problems considering the client’s requirements and time frame.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and the ability to use them for integration, automation, and data storage. Familiarity with Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for building custom apps, workflows, and reports that integrate with Dynamics 365.
  • Customize and configure the Commerce Runtime to meet the specific needs of the e-commerce platform. This includes tailoring features related to product catalogs, pricing, promotions, inventory management, wish list, omni channel, store pickup and distributed order management.
  • Develop, extend, and maintain APIs and microservices within the Commerce Runtime to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems. This includes creating and enhancing endpoints for tasks such as order processing and inventory management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest updates and upgrades for Dynamics 365 and implement them as necessary to keep the system running smoothly.
  • Hands-on experience of integrating payment service providers and payment gateways such as Adyen, PayPal, Synchrony, Progressive, AllPago, Affirm, and ApplePay.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of payment processing protocols and standards such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and various payment gateways.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent evaluated by a US credentialing service) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Work Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of Technical Consultant, Advisory Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
