Description:
Armed with outstanding customer service skills?
and a keen interest in healthcare administration?
Why not apply to join our RMO Daily Operations team at Middlemore Hospital, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a tangible difference in our community’s healthcare outcomes. This is a 1-year fixed-term position (to cover the secondment of one of our team members), but there will be plenty of opportunity for the right candidate!
As an integral part of our team, you’ll dive into the heart of daily operations, providing crucial day-to-day support to our junior doctors in training and essential hospital services. Picture yourself as the friendly face behind the scenes, ready to tackle any challenge with your unbeatable problem-solving skills and infectious “can-do” attitude.
We’re looking for an individual who personifies empathy, approachability, and a dash of resilience coupled with some great communication skills, both verbal and written. If you’re someone with a knack for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, adept at working under pressure, and excel in teamwork, we want to hear from you! And if you happen to be a whiz with Excel, consider it a bonus.
In this role, you’ll navigate a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities with ease while delivering top-notch customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone. Previous experience in healthcare or customer service/administration is advantageous, but if you’re self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft applications, we can help you with the rest.
The team is looking for someone who is:
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Is friendly, empathetic and approachable
- Has outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
- A “can do” attitude
- The proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Highly logical with advanced problem-solving abilities
- Strong focus on Team Work
And in return, we are proud to offer the right candidate:
- An interesting and varied working environment
- Training and support to succeed
- To work alongside a dedicated and loyal team of likeminded individuals
- Plenty of opportunities for further advancement within our organisation.
Our Office hours are between 7:00am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday with some rostered after-hours/weekend cover for our Locum bureau.
