Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights and support decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • years of experience in data analysis or related role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Certification in data analytics or related area (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific data analysis techniques and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze data using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data dictionaries to support data analysis and reporting activities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data mining to answer business questions and solve problems.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement data quality controls and best practices.
  • Stay current with data analytics technologies and best practices to continuously improve data analysis capabilities.
  • Provide training and support to end users on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.
