Description:
Role Overview
The Data Analyst, Digital Policy Solution/Rules, reporting to the Team Leader, Digital Policy Solution/Rules, will contribute to Sirva’s success by supporting management and maintenance of the DPS/Rules Engine including reviewing new policies, programs and services to ensure proper and effective audit rules are in place, and the DPS is kept current.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assists with the development and maintenance of Rules for the DPS.
- Contributes to and supports DPS/Rules education and awareness.
- Promotes data literacy and the understanding of data definitions and standards across the business; help drive standardization
- Develops control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data in DPS/Rules
- Work with business partners to capture and understand functional requirements and develop system audit rules to insure proper adjudication
- Makes ongoing updates to DPS/Rules as needed ensuring documentation is kept current and updates/changes are communicated to the organization
- Understands and apply privacy laws and regulations to work.
- Writes various documents such as functional requirements.
- Support client implementations auditing workbooks received to ensure they are correct before having the system setup team add them.
- Working with AM and System setup, support adjustments to existing clients
What You Bring to SIRVA
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- 3+ years of experience in an analyst role. Experience supporting data governance and data management projects is preferred
- Relocation Industry knowledge is a plus – experience working with client policies, customer expenses, and global relocation programs
- Self-starter. Performs key responsibilities in accordance with prescribed time frames, without follow-up.
- Curiosity and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to write concise communications, technical documentation, and educational pieces.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with an exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in data quality or similar level data analysis with large data sets
- Solid experience of databases and data structures
- Experience with Microsoft Excel at intermediate or advanced level
