SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree or Diploma in IT related field
• A proven data analyst professional with demonstrated commercial and financial reporting
• Experience developing and delivering advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
• 2+ years’ experience working with financial data and financial teams
• Strong financial understanding, high degree of analytical skill and sound knowledge of business procedures
• Commercial experience in SQL and Python
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and progress. A positive and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Convert financial data into automated and easy to use dashboards and reports
• Develop and maintain commercial and financial solutions and advanced Power BI dashboards, applications, and detailed reporting solutions to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in Key Performance Indicators and Operational efficiency insights to support business decisions and drive improvement initiatives
• Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify key business requirements and metrics to deliver reporting requirements
• Source, extract and transform data from various sources including SQL, in house systems, websites and excel files
• Enforce Data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity
• Use data to create models that help improve business efficiency and predict trends
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analysis tools, reporting platforms and data management best practices
• Ability to identify data deficiencies and work with the business and/or development teams to propose and implement solutions for improved data quality
