Responsibilities:

A role where you can bring your data analytical capability and gain knowledge and experience in Banking & Finance, Risk and Financial Crime Risk.

  • Data mining and analysing skills
  • Intermediate to advance skills in SQL, Microsoft Excel, VBA
  • Working knowledge of big data analysis tools like R, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, graph database etc
  • Understanding of Google Data Platform and BigData query will be advantageous.
  • Exposure to financial crime risk management, with emphasis on AML/CTF and Sanctions is desirable
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the team

A full-time 12 month secondment / fixed term contract. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, including a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week based out of our Head Offices. We are open to various locations.
Group Risk Transformation and Strategy enables and support Group Risk (2LOD) in the development and execution of its strategy through specialist skillsets to support operational excellence across Group Risk functions. The function also supports the Group’s transformation and align efforts and requirements across Group Risk.

As a Data Analyst you’ll get to:

  • Test, support, and maintain the system and data capability for the management of across Group Risk initiatives
  • Apply business and technical knowledge to identify defects and gaps, especially in the data domain to improve the outcomes
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including Group Risk teams (including Financial Crime Risk), Project, Technology, Data & Transformation teams and business unit team members
  • Support and contribute to the oversight and maintenance, including upgrades, major or minor changes and regular assurance processes, of systems including Financial Crime Risk systems.
  • Support testing and other projects, initiatives and BAU activities including test cases and maintaining traceability.
