Description:
Status: Full Time – Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Hybrid role
Working with the Director of Business Analytics, the Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in the governance, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting of data assets to strengthen client relationships and inform business intelligence pipelines. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for timely reporting of deliverables each requiring diligent review and quality control. In this role, you will work directly with our internal customers as well as key stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to determine business needs and provide solutions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage a pipeline of milestones to prepare and compile ongoing monthly and quarterly reporting
- Review reports and forms for quality, continuity, consistency and accuracy
- Confirm reports are consistent with legislative requirements and standards related to the customer segment
- Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
- Liaise with clinic staff and other departments to discuss reports and provide guidance and feedback as required
- Produce specialized reports and data extracts while demonstrating solid understanding of business objectives
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for amendment
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions
- Collaborate in the planning, development, and deployment of new data solutions and evaluate and improve existing reports and dashboards
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills required (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experience in SQL and PowerBI are considered an asset
- Ability to build strong relationship with business unit leaders
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
- Self-starter, quick learner with a positive, collaborative and team-base attitude
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing competing priorities while maintain high quality standards
- Meticulous attention to detail
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1-year experience in office administration and/or data analytics
- Previous experience in the health industry is considered an asset
