The Data Analyst, reporting to the Director of Measurement and Analytics, is an integral part of our team, which serves multiple stakeholders for their analytical and business intelligence needs. The team works closely with business and technical teams, overseeing reporting data structures and quality while also ensuring that data is properly leveraged to inform business decisions. The Data Analyst will enjoy working with data, demonstrate strong business judgment and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst
  • 1-2 years of experience using Tableau
  • Analytically oriented with the ability to interpret trends and understand statistical principles
  • Strong knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts and comfortable extracting data and manipulating using SQL
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain performance level in a fast-paced agile environment with changing priorities and deadlines

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge with A/B testing and product feature evaluation
  • Experience working within Snowflake infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience programming in Python

    Although this can be a remote opportunity, this role is based on EST. There may travel to Boston for training or company events. Sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep and up-to-date knowledge of the data warehouse; troubleshoot data inconsistencies as they arise
  • Translate business needs from various teams into analytical tasks/requirements
  • Create new data sources or use existing data sources to build datasets for analysis based on business requirements
  • Build views and dashboards in Tableau based on new or existing data infrastructure to supplement the data story and to allow end users to drill down into the data with multiple filters, parameters, and controls
  • Present results/findings from analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders in the company
  • Maintain existing Tableau dashboards or elevate reports and dashboards for improvement
  • Demonstrate a level of independence in driving analyses
  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery of projects/reports
