In 2024, we are launching a strategic partnership with a transformational UK university and looking for talented, ambitious individuals to grow our team. You will be joining OES at an exciting time with significant opportunities for professional growth, creativity, and impact.
This position is a hybrid role based in OES’ Birmingham office (2-3 days per week) with the remainder working from your home.
The primary purpose of this role is to support and enhance the student experience by providing actionable insights derived from the analysis of internal and external data. The Data Analyst will be responsible for translating analytical findings into practical recommendations to drive improvements in student acquisition, retention, and overall satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in analytics, reporting, or data engineering within professional services or corporate environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in databases and SQL programming.
  • Excellent numeracy, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
