Description:

IDEAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of experience or in a similar role such as a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Extensive experience in the delivery of insights through visualisations
  • Experience in the delivery and interpretation of data insights
  • Use of business intelligence tools such as QuickSight, Tableau and SSRS
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modelling, and designing and creating visualisations. Experience using Python would be desirable.
  • Experience in some or similar tools/platforms, RedShift, Matillion, Databricks, SQL Server, WhereScape Red (legacy ETL), or data related AWS services

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our Data and Insights team to continue to execute our overall strategy during an exciting period. You will be the bridge between the business and it’s data, by partnering and building strong relationships you will develop an understanding of the different areas to help them articulate their questions to enable the translation of their data into actionable insights. You will also be involved in key strategic projects not only in the Data and Insights team but across the wider business as well.
This is a varied role, not only will you work closely with the business to translate data requirements, you will translate these into models on our cloud data lake and warehouse, using modern cloud tools, then design and deliver dashboards.
