Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Data Analyst, you will play an integral role in our client’s Data and Analytics team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing a deep understanding of sales trends and customer behaviour, providing actionable information back to the business. You will assist in supporting strategic decision-making through the delivery of accurate and relevant data, analysis, and actionable insight. Your expertise in designing and building reports and dashboards will be crucial in telling stories through data. You will also maintain a thorough understanding of the Business Intelligence environment, including high-level understanding of source data flows and ETL processes.

  • Develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of sales trends and customer behaviour.
  • Assist in supporting strategic decision-making through delivery of accurate and relevant data.
  • Support predictive modelling and forecasting requirements of the business.
  • Design and build reports and dashboards that effectively tell a story through data.
  • Present these reports to various audiences, ensuring valuable insights are brought to life.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Business Intelligence environment, including source data flows and ETL processes.
  • Design and build ad-hoc data models as required, integrating new data sources that support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this Data Analyst position brings along high-end data analytics technical capability with at least four years’ experience in a similar role. She possesses advanced skills in data visualisation and dashboarding, preferably using PowerBI. She is proficient at writing SQL scripts to extract and analyse data. Her well-honed people skills and strong business acumen enable her to maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. She is able to hit the ground running, making an immediate impact in this small but busy team. A tertiary qualification in a numeric discipline is also required.

  • High-end data analytics technical capability with minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced data visualisation and dashboarding skills, preferably using PowerBI.
