Description:
- Permanent Position, full time at 80 hours per fortnight including ADO
- 6 weeks of Annual Leave and 13 Accrued Days Off per year

THE POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Analytics Manager-Nursing is a professional and clinical leader in Nursing Services and plays a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives. The primary purpose of this role is to develop, coordinate, and manage nursing workforce data analysis initiatives, activities, reporting and solutions. The Data Analytics Manager-Nursing, supports Nursing Services and other stakeholders, when undertaking strategic nursing workforce planning, modelling, predictive analytics and auditing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provision of Nursing Workforce data and analytics to enable Nursing Services to make informed decisions relating to nursing workforce profiles.
- Provision and development of Nursing Workforce Staff management Tools delivering maintenance and technical support to Nurse Manager Group.
- Analyse and interpret information to identify emerging workforce trends, issues and risks to nursing workforce capability.
- Research and analyse data to identify errors and systems issues and work with relevant stakeholders to implement remedial action to continually improve data reliability and quality.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Post Graduate Degree in healthcare / business management or working towards same
- Extensive experience in either research, data analysis/collection, workforce management
- Recent extensive clinical nursing experience in relevant health service
