JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and experienced data analyst with experience in Data Science to join our Credit Cards Marketing Analysis team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in model development, segmentation strategies and analytics within the credit card industry. The candidate will be part of a team developing and implementing cutting-edge models and tools and working closely with the audience and analytics team to provide insights to drive actionable marketing strategies in digital as well as offline space.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • The qualified candidate must have experience in end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation and data exploration to modeling and deployment.
  • Working with business requirements and delivering data-driven solutions; Machine Learning Frameworks
  • Working with: SAS, Python, R, SQL, in banking industry for model development; Customer Segmentation using Classification and Clustering Techniques, Adhering to Data Governance while developing data science models.
  • Digital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Development and implementation of advanced analytics approaches including statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.

  • Analyze big data (structured and unstructured) and understand trends to provide actionable insights that impact business bottom line across the range of analytics initiatives- Customer Acquisition, Credit Behavior, Cross-Sell / Upgrade Propensity Models, Customer Lifetime Value.

  • Digital and Offline Analytics: Utilize data analytics techniques to analyze both digital and offline customer interactions and campaign performance.

  • Display strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert complex analytical output into clear, concise insights across a breadth of audience.

THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE OF THE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS.
