JOB BRIEF
One of our prestigious clients is looking for a skilled Data Architect to manage the architecture of our modern Safety / Pharmacovigilance Data Platforms. This role involves handling data from various systems and transforming it into valuable insights for our users through a scalable big data pipeline on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). If you are passionate about data and enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies, we want you on our team!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical Skills: Expertise in writing complex scripts using Iron Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic functions in Python and R.
- GCP Knowledge: Deep understanding of GCP services for data, analytics, and AI such as BigQuery, Apache Kafka, Vertex AI, AutoML, and Gemini.
- Pharmacovigilance Experience: Must have experience in Pharmacovigilance and understanding of the ArisG ecosystem for data dependency purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Architect and Design: Create and manage scalable, flexible, and resilient data processing pipelines using top industry tools and technologies.
- Technical Translation: Convert business requirements into technical specifications including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
- Documentation: Write clear and detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, reference architecture, data flows, data models, design, and implementation plans.
- Collaboration: Work with other teams to help them use the data platform seamlessly, understand their needs, and design new features to better serve them.
- API Infrastructure: Enhance our API infrastructure, connecting front-end web portals to the back-end processing engine.
- Data Science and ML: Expand our data science/ML capabilities by using the latest innovations in the field.
- Security and Risk: Partner with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security and create and test Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Understand current challenges, influence engineering strategy, and suggest new features and functionalities.
