Description:

At Lifescale Analytics, we help achieve data driven decision by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovated solutions, that ultimately help our clients to navigate their ever-changing data landscape. We are looking for a skilled Data Architect with expertise in Snowflake to join our dynamic team. The ideal person will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our data architecture specifically on the Snowflake platform. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, implement best practices for data storage and retrieval, and ensure the scalability and efficiency of our data solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Data Architect with strong proficiency in Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake features such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and Snowflake data sharing.
  • Experience with designing and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Current or ability to obtain government clearance.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in Snowflake (e.g., SnowPro Certification) bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Snowflake-based data architecture solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data models for optimal storage and retrieval, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend Snowflake features, configurations, and optimizations.
  • Perform performance tuning and monitoring of Snowflake data warehouses.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Define and enforce data standards and best practices.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and governance are maintained across all data-related projects.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by the client or manager.
