DATA CENTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER (F/M/D)

Tasks

  • As part of our team, your responsibilities will include setting up, operating, running, monitoring and maintaining the infrastructure of our own data centers in Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden.
  • You will analyze, document and independently rectify any faults that occur in the technical systems (e.g. power supply/UPS system, fire alarm, locking or air conditioning system).
  • You keep and maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
  • You are also the contact person for our external service providers and coordinate them.
  • Your team and an experienced colleague will be on hand to help you familiarize yourself with the existing processes in all areas.

Qualifications

  • You have completed training as an electronics technician or a comparable technical apprenticeship.
  • You have already gained initial experience in the field of energy supply, air conditioning technology, fire and burglar alarm systems or in a data center operation.
  • You are interested in familiarizing yourself with new topics and developing and implementing situation-dependent solutions.
  • You also have an independent and structured way of working, enjoy communicating with external and internal employees and are keen to play an active role in our team.
  • You also have business fluent written and spoken German and a class B driving license.
