Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/OUTCOMES: 1. Prioritise and manage workload without direct supervision.2. To be proficient in using the Hospital Information System and all other IT systems as required by the service.3. To take a lead on all paperwork and preparation for ICNARC submissions ensuring patients paper notes are tracked and stored correctly in compliance with the information governance policies on data protection.4.
To be responsible for data entry for ICNARC ensuring accurate and timely completion of information required from both paper and electronic patient records onto ward watcher.5. Be responsible for providing an administrative service for the clinical lead, matron, service manager, senior nursing staff and ICU consultants.6. To attend and take minutes for departmental meetings e.g. Service line and Clinical governance meetings as required by management.
7. Provide specific data as required for audit purposes.8. Enter data using the ICNARC severity scoring system for benchmarking and clinical outcomes
