Role Description:
§ Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data-centric applications and systems, guiding and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
§ Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps, aligning them with business objectives and ensuring their successful execution.
§ Support the team by implementing complex functions
§ Architect robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
§ Provide expert-level guidance on data analysis, modeling, and interpretation, driving strategic decision-making processes within the organization.
§ Oversee the implementation of advanced ETL/ELT processes while emphasizing data quality, reliability, and efficiency improvements.
§ Drive innovation in data infrastructure and methodologies, constantly seeking ways to optimize costs and enhance performance.
§ Act as a subject matter expert in data governance, metadata management, and ensuring adherence to data compliance regulations.
§ Collaborate effectively across departments, offering thought leadership and presenting technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
§ EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OPERATING SYSTEMS (LINUX PREFERABLE).
§ Deep understanding and proven expertise in data modeling, including experience in designing and implementing complex distributed systems.
§ Extensive experience with big data technologies, having led or contributed significantly to large-scale data processing projects.
§ Demonstrated thought leadership in data governance, metadata management, and establishing best practices for ensuring data quality and compliance.
§ Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
§ Strategic mindset with a track record of influencing decision-making processes and driving organizational data strategies.
§ Familiarity with Standard AI/ML processes & Operations is greatly valued.
