THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to internal growth, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our data systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and insights across the organisation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with strong proficiency in database systems, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Microsoft Fabric and distributed computing frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
