Data Engineer

Our banking client is looking for a experienced Data Engineer to join their team asap.
You will work in client’s IT development team in the area of Data & Analytics. The current project task is to create new data deliveries from Hadoop-based data lake by building a data mart based on a predefined data model and creating necessary ETLs to complete the process.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Good knowledge of data engineering
• Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, SQL/PLSQL, Oozie workflows, Python and Pyspark are all seen as a plus

Allocation: 100 %
Assignment start date: Asap
Duration: 30.12.2024
Location: Helsinki, Finland. Team is working three days per week from the office.
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
