QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Active Public Trust Clearance
• 3+ years of experience in data modernizations from a legacy system to Java systems
• 3+ years of experience with data structures and data engineering
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling (like Visio)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• Government consulting experience
• Java development experience

This Data Engineer / Modeler will:

• Be supporting a government client to modernize a legacy application to Java by providing expertise/understanding of legacy data structures used in the current production environment.
• Use data modeling best practices to transform the legacy data structures into modernized Java objects that can be utilized in a modernized database.
• Have the candidate working with current legacy system programmers as well as Java architects and developers to help bridge the gap in creating a new, modernized data structure.
