ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007, including satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant legislation and/or related policies.

Key focus area of this role is building upon and bringing together two components:
(1) Datawarehouse (built on Snowflake-Talend-Databricks technology stack) for the Hospitality and Racing Division.
(2) Enabling reporting, analytics, dashboarding and data modelling based on data feeding into and output from division level systems.
As secondary focus, this role will support integration engineers on how data required for the running of Salesforce (fed from our Datawarehouse) and the data being generated from Salesforce can be modelled for reporting and analytics, applying process automations where applicable with an aim to improve the overall quality of data.
