DATA ENGINEER (ORACLE)

• $1000 p/d + super
• Hybrid WFH
• Canberra, ACT
• 6 month inital + 3 month extension
  You will be working as a Data Engineer (Oracle) for a prominent Federal Government agency tasked with ensuring the efficient management and sustainable use of Commonwealth resources.

• Database Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain robust database systems, including schema design, stored procedures, queries, and scripts for data manipulation and retrieval. Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of database systems
• Data Integration and ETL Processes: Utilise Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that integrate data from various sources into a cohesive and efficient architecture. Optimise data flows to improve performance and reliability
• Data Modelling: Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and experience designing and implementing relational and dimensional data models
• Business Intelligence and Reporting: Support the development of reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insightful, actionable reports
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Must be able to provide efficient and scalable solutions to meet business needs
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
