Data Engineer

We are in search of a meticulous Data Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is pivotal in the design, build and delivery of Data Warehouse and ETL structures and solutions. The successful candidate will provide architectural vision, anticipate problems, and serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert for data and analytics. This role offers an exhilarating opportunity to work in the gaming and hospitality industry.

Design, build, deliver, and support Data Warehouse and ETL solutions.
Serve as an internal consultant, providing architecture, vision, problem-solving, and subject matter expertise for data and analytics users.
Offer expertise on data from gaming and hospitality systems.
Provide L3 application and on-call support for data and integration solutions.
Lead and participate in agile project teams.
Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, including support, projects, and system specifications.
Prepare clear documentation for solutions and integrate it into the corporate knowledgebase.
Collaborate with Product Management to determine business requirements for data-centric solutions.
Stay updated on trends in data warehousing and management.
Transform, cleanse, and provision corporate data assets securely and efficiently.
Contribute to the ongoing Data Management maturation process.
Ensure safety and maintain consistent attendance as essential job functions.
Must reside in the Las Vegas Metro area and be willing to come onsite as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field is required.
Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other required certifications or licenses.
At least 5 years of experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes using SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Knowledge of GCP and Azure Cloud platforms.
At least 5 years of experience in advanced SQL, data mining, and working with relational databases and/or distributed systems like Hadoop and Big Query.
AI and ML knowledge is a plus.
