POSITION

Are you a Data Engineer looking for your next challenge in a collaborative and innovative environment? We are currently undergoing exciting changes and looking for a Data Engineer to join our cross-functional team comprised of Project Managers, Business Analysts, statisticians, Data Scientists, Graphic Designers, and Web Developers.
Reporting directly to the Technical Architect, your expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms like Azure will be instrumental in architecting and optimising our data infrastructure.
The Data Engineer will work closely with our insights brand – Lumina Intelligence. Lumina Intelligence are a highly ambitious, London-based agency, inspiring the UK food and drink industry with deep, actionable insights powered by the best analytics technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, debug, problem solve and optimize SQL tables, functions, views and stored procedures.
  • Work with application developers to integrate databases with applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and security.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of database design and processes.
  • Liaise with the data team (consisting of data scientists and data analysts), business analyst and project managers to resolve issues and progress new initiatives
