SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline;
• Broad experience in Data and Software Engineering;
• Senior level experience with ability to take responsibility of own tasks and work in a team;
• Experience in:
• Data Engineering;
• Software Development in Python;
• Architecture definition and documentation;
• Data Management;
• DevOps;
• Agile Development following the SCRUM framework.

• Setting up and managing data engineering pipelines, data processing, machine learning frameworks and tools, manipulating scientific data, and cataloguing data;
• Developing software, conducting code reviews, managing configurations, and overseeing governance of the SDLC using Cloud-based infrastructure and services where applicable;
• Updating project documentation and liaising with stakeholders outside of the project team, including field trial organizers and participants, the local IT team, accreditation authority, and team members;
• Ensuring the software developed and acquired data is managed according to internal guidelines and metadata management best practices;
• Configuring pipelines and applying DevOps tools using Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.
