JOB SUMMARY:

We are actively searching for a talented and enthusiastic data engineering intern to support our Lead Engineer in innovative data solutions within the Industrial Automation sector. The intern will engage in avariety of settingsto develop/integrate software solution that collect, manage, and covert raw data intoactionable insights for data scientists and business analysts to interpret. In addition, the intern will alsoundertake a capstone project to advance our strategy plan ofensuring high-quality data is readilyavailable, empowering our customers to enhance and streamline their operational efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Collaborate with lead engineer and external data scientists on data solution projects/opportunities
• Explore ways for data acquisition

• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java Script and Python) is a plus- Knowledge of containerization platform is a plus

• Combine raw information from different sources, i.e., data orchestration

• Develop data visualization dashboarding

• Integrating drivers/modules to facilitate data integration/conversion from a diverse field equipmentand processes, ensuring accessibility of valuable datasets on the edge, on-premises, or in the cloud.
• Automating and simplifying manual data collection and ingestion and operational processes.
• Integrating with AWS Industrial Data Fabric to ensure comprehensive data provisioning with propercontext from edge to cloud.
• Establishing data pipelines that deliver actionable insights in a scalable and repeatable manner.
• Developing dashboards for data visualization and enabling event triggers.
