APPROVED TRANSPORTATION AND WAREHOUSING, LTD. HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A QUALIFIED DATA ENTRY CLERK TO SUPPORT OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS DETAIL ORIENTED WITH 1 YEAR OF DATA ENTRY IN A HIGH-VOLUME ENVIRONMENT. TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS AD.

Pay: $19.00 an hour
Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic accounting knowledge and excellent data entry skills required
• Type in data quickly and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexibility with work schedule
• Excellent attendance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• 1+ years’ experience in data entry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and typing on a computer

• Entering data into the central database
• Cataloging the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
• Retrieving data as requested
• Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
• Review data for deficiencies or errors
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity.
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Uploading documents into a database
• Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after uploading date electronically
• Receives, screens, and routes visitors and drivers via Axis Companion
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
