Description:

KEY CAPABILITIES

  • Knowledge of data quality dimensions, data criticality and data profiling practices
  • Experience using tools and techniques to analyse data and quantify the impact and

priority of identified issues

  • Ability to work in small teams to inform action on data quality and measure impacts

and improvements to integrity of data

  • Strong communication skills to support stakeholder engagement and ability to

influence priority for resolution of data quality issues

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience managing data assets, data quality and assessing integrity of data sources -

SFIA Data Management

  • Lived experience of disability or demonstrated understanding of disability services in a

State or Territory Government context would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

KEY DUTIES

This position is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of a data
quality program of work to support the commission to improve its practices to enable high
quality data

  • Supports the development and implementation of data quality related policies and

processes

  • Supports the development and implementation of data quality practices including

data quality issues prioritisation and management, development and monitoring of
quality metrics and thresholds, working with business areas to improve data entry and

remediation of data quality issues with technical stakeholders

  • Enables a proactive data quality profiling capability to establish a baseline of quality

and identify data issues for the commission

  • Reports periodically to relevant stakeholders on the current status of data quality,

risks and issues impacting business operations and efficiency

  • Supports the use of tools and processes to build maturity in data quality practices for

the commission
