REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience
- 3+ years’ experience in data governance related roles
- Working knowledge of analytical tools, SQL or similar coding language, and relational databases
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Experience in quality and/or performance management metrics
- Data security and the appropriate care of sensitive patient information
- Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Foundational knowledge in data architecture and data engineering, good understanding of data sources, transformation rules, and uses of the data for the area of stewardship
- Knowledge in healthcare technology and basic understanding of relevant data in the field
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently learn new business domains and problems
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in related discipline
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms
- Familiarity with healthcare data privacy regulations
- Background working with EHR, billing system and CMS claims data – Medicare/Medicaid Programs
- Continuous improvement mindset and a desire to always be growing their technical knowledge and leadership acumen
Posted Min Pay Rate USD $105,000 / Yr.
Posted Max Pay Rate USD $153,950 / Yr.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains and enhances Data Governance processes, including support for Data Governance Council meetings, initiative tracking, requirement gathering, and change management protocols
- Establishes communication plan and processes to implement data quality and governance policies; leads such implementation and coaches businesses along the way
- Defines and executes standards for data in partnership with Data Domain owners and stewards
- Defines data dictionary and implements design and definition of business and technical data catalogs
- Coordinates with data domain stewards and subject matter experts to define/validate business definitions for data elements, review data lineage and maintain metadata for data elements
- Identifies candidates for critical data elements (CDEs) and develops quality monitoring programs in partnership with Data Domain owners and stewards and the Data Operations team
