Reporting to the Director, Data Operations, the Data Governance Lead is responsible for researching, planning and executing on the first Data Governance Program at PRHC. This includes the development of new policies, processes and procedures, which must be applied to all data programs and data products across the hospital, and across our regional partnerships. This role will be responsible for change management pertaining to Data Governance, and must collaborate closely with PRHC’s Chief Privacy Officer to ensure alignment between our physical and digital asset management practices. This role must promotes the data governance program, with a focus on consistent access and use of data, increased visibility of enterprise data assets, and educate and train business users on best practices for data management. Additionally, the Data Governance Lead partners with PRHC staff at all levels to create and implement technology solutions to produce highly managed, governed and trustworthy data assets to enable substantive regulatory supports. The Lead will play a key role in shaping data governance practices for the PRHC and developing and executing a data management roadmap. This role will also support on Data Quality initiatives.
